We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join our team, where you’ll have the opportunity to influence key projects and help shape the future of our Gaming Services suite.
Responsibilities
- Build, coach, and mentor a small collection of high-performing engineering teams, as well as working deeply with individuals to help them achieve their potential.
- Work collaboratively across teams to deeply understand the needs of our users and clients, and then contribute to the plan, design, and build of features and services that best serve those needs, leveraging lean and agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with the broader Unity technology leadership community to provide input into strategies and standards, ensure solution reuse, leverage and to eliminate solution redundancy
- Continuously improve your people management, engineering knowledge, leadership and collaboration skills, leveraging all the Learning and Development courses and support we provide.
Requirements
- Experience building, retaining, and managing high performing diverse and inclusive teams, and growing, mentoring and coaching software engineers.
- Hands-on experience developing and operating large scale distributed systems, with a focus on shipping quality software products and services.
- Comfortable operating with a high level of autonomy and accountability.
- Previous job experience as a software engineering manager or development lead managing multiple small to medium sized teams
- Experience line managing managers, in addition to individual contributors
