The opportunity
The Muse Editor team is reimagining how users create with Unity.
We are evolving the editor to be controlled with natural language, locally or on the cloud. Creators can build, modify and query their interactive 3D content through a chat interface. Onboarding becomes as simple as asking a project what it does.
This project collaborates with many different parts of the Unity ecosystem including Cloud, Unity Editor, Asset Pipeline, Muse Chat, and other AI teams. The role requires someone familiar with Unity products, and can clearly communicate this to a wide range of partners in order to align and lead a diverse team towards a common set of objectives.
What you’ll be doing
Managing and mentoring a cross-disciplinary team of ML & software developers
Enabling the team as they develop and ship high-quality solutions while clearly presenting progress
Partnering closely with product and program management functions to scope product development, build project plans, and timelines
Collaborating closely with internal team members and external partners to promote and position Unity's AI creation platform.
Providing thought leadership for connecting AI interfaces and tools across Unity
What we’re looking for
Experience in software development with a wide variety of technologies
Excellent people management and communication skills to influence people across the organization
Ability to find creative solutions to difficult problems
Experience in fostering innovation and follow-through implementation of new machine learning products and architectures at scale
Consistent track record in managing a team and being accountable for outcomes
You might also have
Hands-on experience building production models with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent deep learning framework
Experience with Unity Engine, 3D simulators or game development
