This year, we're building out an exciting new Product Operations team to help drive innovation for game creators. At its core, this team will focus on listening deeply to our customers, our community, and our market, ensuring their voices remain at the center of our decision-making.
We are looking for a Product Operations Manager to join the team. This person will play a key role in building the systems, processes, and tools required for efficient operations, enabling product management leadership to deliver exceptional results while staying deeply connected to our customers. You'll work closely with product teams, customer success, and data science to create seamless systems for gathering customer insights, analyzing feedback data, and driving key initiatives.
As the Product Operations Manager, you will be designing, managing, and optimizing the systems and processes that enable Unity’s product management teams to operate efficiently and effectively. Your focus will be designing scalable mechanisms to collect, analyze, and synthesize feedback from our customers and the market, providing actionable insights that inform product strategy and innovation.
A successful candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. You're passionate about operations, process improvement, and leveraging data to drive insights. You also understand the nuances of product development and are excited to play a critical role in enhancing how Unity serves the global game development community.
What you'll be doing
Build Voice of the Customer (VoC) systems: Establish scalable processes and tools for collecting, categorizing, and synthesizing customer feedback, community insights, and market trends across multiple channels.
Data-inspired Insights: Partner with data science and analytics teams to extract actionable insights from feedback data and operational metrics, driving alignment between product strategy and customer needs.
Support Roadmap Development: Manage systems for tracking roadmaps and product updates, ensuring alignment between internal teams and external stakeholders while maintaining transparency.
Operational Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in existing product operations processes and implement improvements to optimize workflows, communication, and data utilization.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product management, customer success, research, and data science to ensure alignment and seamless execution of initiatives like customer feedback loops and product innovation cycles.
Manage Feedback Channels: Develop and maintain systems to structure incoming customer feedback from diverse sources – surveys, interviews, forums, customer success interactions – and ensure it is actionable and integrated into product workflows.
Promote Customer Centricity: Act as a champion for putting customers at the center of all decisions; embed customer insights across the organization to ensure our roadmap and strategy align with community and creator needs.
Process Documentation: Document workflows, operational tools, and systems to scale processes across a growing team while maintaining clarity and efficiency.
What we're looking for
Experience in product operations, program/project management, or operations roles, preferably at a tech company.
Demonstrated ability to design and optimize processes, workflows, or operational tools that drive efficiency and scalability.
Strong analytical mindset with experience working with customer feedback data, operational metrics, or market research to synthesize actionable insights.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, customer success, research, and data science.
Proficiency with tools and platforms for managing product roadmaps, project workflows, and data visualization (e.g., Jira, Looker, Confluence, etc.).
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities while working on complex cross-functional projects.
Passion for customer-centric product development and understanding of product management principles.

Background in SaaS, gaming, or creative technology industries.
Familiarity with large-scale data analysis techniques
Experience working in product organizations or teams closely connected to customer success or community management.
