We are looking for a growth-minded M&A Tax Manager to play a meaningful role on our global tax team. You will report to our International Tax Director and will work with internal partners and external advisors to manage the tax aspects of the M&A life cycle - due diligence, integration, and entity management. We need a master at project management, who can balance multiple projects simultaneously, identify and quantify tax issues, and educate business partners and support tax leadership on the various tax impacts of M&A transactions. What you’ll be doing
- Use technical knowledge and experience to provide effective project management and educate internal partners on status and impacts of transactions - expect 2-5 active M&A projects on a regular basis
- Prepare efficient tax structures and models for acquisitions, integrations, and other corporate structuring projects
- Analyze target-company tax information to understand historical trends, analyze historic and future tax exposures, and identify planning opportunities
- Engage with cross-functional teams at regular cadence, displaying executive presence and ability to explain difficult tax technical concepts to a non-tax audience
- Handle <$20M domestic deals internally with support from internal tax leadership
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s in accounting or equivalent; Master's degree in Taxation or JD with LLM in taxation preferred
- 5+ years tax experience; 3+ years in M&A Tax at Big 4 or top law firm
- Strong project management and interpersonal skills
