The opportunity
Unity’s Montreal studio is looking for a Full Stack Cloud Developer to be part of the team designing and building the cloud services behind our newest industrial offering, Unity Reflect. Think of it as video game technology applied to architecture, engineering and construction (AEC)!
Unity democratized game development by allowing everyone with an idea to become a game developer. You will be helping us achieve the same success in the AEC space!
What you’ll be doing
- Build cloud streaming technology that allows users to design, visualize and collaborate on content in real time across mobile, desktop, AR and VR platforms
- Own the development and maintenance of features, coordinating with the product design team to identify technical roadblocks and propose solutions as needed
- Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and implementations, covering both code and infrastructure
What we’re looking for
- Experience building distributed systems from the ground up
- Proven knowledge of how to architect highly-available and scalable systems
- Experience with C#, .NET Core, and a proven track record of working across the full stack
You might also have
- Experience with the Unity game engine or game development
- Experience in Linux dev-ops
- Understanding of, or a curiosity about the architecture, engineering and/or construction space
