Our Payroll Team is on the hunt for a dedicated Payroll Specialist for our EMEA Payroll team, covering 14 countries with more than 1,500 employees. You’ll report to the regional Payroll Manager and be part of the wider Global Payroll team working to ensure consistency, accuracy and compliance in our payroll processes and transactions.

What you’ll be doing

  • Prepare payroll input reports from our HRIS system, Workday, and manually input data from sources such as Excel sheets, Slack channels and a shared mailbox
  • Process payroll transactions, including new hires, leave of absences, terminations, employee changes and wage garnishments, auditing payroll data and reports for errors and resolving payroll issues.
  • Review, analyze and improve the current payroll processes to ensure readiness for global payroll structure
  • Partner with the Payroll Manager to design, document and implement procedures to streamline regional and global payroll processes
  • Ensure payroll compliance with company policy as well as EU and local tax legislation

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience in a regularly changing and very fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of Payroll and Benefits standard methodologies and familiarity with transactional based payroll and automated processes
  • A critical eye and sharp analytical skills to solve the issues and challenges, especially in a regional role with many diverse country complexities and needs
  • A collaborative, versatile, candid communicator, good listener with sensitivity to multiple styles and perspectives, building and fostering relationships with cross-functional audiences
  • Fluent English skills, with German and/or a Nordic language as an added benefit

Bonus points

  • Experience working with colleagues from different cultures across international offices
  • Experience in equity reporting (Restricted Stock Units and Stock Options)
  • System implementation experience or knowledge of Workday payroll and reports
