Unity Technologies continues to build and develop our team, with the goal to extend Unity’s success within the Industrial and Digital Twins market. You will be working in a multi-functional team of talented individuals and will be communicating with other teams around the world!

As we continue to grow and evolve, we're looking to add a Technical Artist to join our Technical Marketing team. In this role, you will develop high quality content and assets to support marketing activations such as product demos, videos, enablement content, and much more - focusing on markets such as Automotive, Transportation, Manufacturing, Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Government and Aerospace, Retail, Robotics, Machine Learning and AI. Use your background producing high quality visuals and technical training to drive adoption and long term retention of Unity’s Digital Twin solutions.

What you’ll be doing

  • Partnered with a technical specialist, work with Content Lead, Project Management, and Product Managers to create and develop assets and content for our Technical Marketing programs.
  • Build and maintain assets and projects in our ever growing content library.
  • Create and Review content, provide and implement feedback on our team projects, and align on quality standards to ensure they are being met within our team and when working with 3rd party vendors.
  • Working with R&D as a secondary net for quality and testing of our emerging products (Dog-fooding our own products and giving feedback on a “real” user basis).
  • Create and record content on a regular cadence that is aligned with our product road maps and stakeholders.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience with the Unity Industrial Collection of products, and creating content for the Industrial sectors.
  • Hands-on experience with DCC and artist tools like Houdini, Maya, and or Blender, Photoshop.
  • Excellent communication skills; the ability to manage multiple projects, providing clear and timely feedback
  • Expert level understanding of Materials, Lighting and Texturing and Shaders for PBR workflows
  • Experience with commercial/industrial data, CAD, BIM, GIS, LIDAR, point clouds, etc, as well as understanding real-time 3D performance and optimizations

You might also have

  • Experience in working with source control tools, Github, Perforce or Plastic SCM, etc, as well as C# programming skills
  • Experience with multimedia authoring tools (ex Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, OBS, etc.)
  • Knowledge of cinematography fundamentals, cameras and lenses. Excellent eye for lighting, colour and great aesthetic
