The opportunity

Unity Seeks a Community Engagement Manager to build, grow and cultivate its online voice for its Digital Twin Business.

For the last half decade, Unity has been rapidly growing beyond gaming, placing a substantial bet to be an underlying platform for humanity’s future in a world where digital twins and interactive real-time 3D changes the way we live and how we interact with the products and objects around us. Succeeding on that bet means finding someone that is able to grow with our brand and sees the potential of digital twin technology and its creators.

Enacting Unity's "Users First" mentality, the Community Engagement Manager will proactively and reactively engage around our customers, Made With digital twin projects and like-minded brands via Unity forums, online platforms including Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube. This Community Engagement Manager will have ownership in determining Unity's online brand voice and collaborating with colleagues in public relations, events, social media, sales and product on strategy and execution.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, who is problem solver, an empathetic listener and an inclusive individual with a strong presence and ability to empower cross-functional partners and influence senior leaders. To be successful, you should be proactive, inventive, accustomed to multi-tasking, and have a strong sense of urgency. What you'll be doing

  • Craft external community strategies to align with the overall business strategy for Unity's Digital Twin Business
  • Pioneer a new online community that are passionate about Digital Twin technologies
  • Collaborate and/or support partner brands on co-branded campaigns
  • Establishing key objectives and ways to measure Unity's success
  • Active social listening; Find opportunities to engage with the community, partners, influencers and strategically insert Unity into trending conversations

What we’re looking for

  • Strong understanding of B2b
  • Loves to engage on social media and follows trends in areas such as architecture, manufacturing, retail, automotive or pop culture
  • Show, not tell, ways in which Unity is being used in the real-world
  • A strong understanding of standard methodologies in Community building, and keep up with the latest trends in Community technologies and platforms
  • Someone who has a sense of humor and understands that community engagement means it is a two-way relationship!
