We are looking for an outstanding Build Engineer to join the Create@Unity organization's Release Management group. You will be part of the team responsible for managing and coordinating releases of Unity products to over a million developers and billions of end-users. You will support the Release Management function by helping to maintain the velocity and integrity of our main code integration pipelines and as such your contribution will be key to the team's success. Your impact will be felt across the engineering org as you contribute directly to the delivery of a growing and hugely exciting product portfolio!

Working from our hip offices in Montreal, you'll collaborate with multiple local teams as well as teams across our US and worldwide offices.

What you’ll be doing

  • Running our code integration processes and monitoring their performance.
  • Collaborating with our tooling teams to specify and build out the evolution and future generations of our CI systems.
  • Working with repository and infrastructure maintainers to continuously improve build stability and test coverage.
  • Proactively investigating system behaviour by looking for problems and bottlenecks.
  • Identifying test failures and instabilities and proactively addressing their root causes.

What we’re looking for

  • Expertise in building and maintaining CI-CD pipelines.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git, Mercurial or Perforce.
  • Development experience, preferably C#.
  • Excellent social skills with a wide array of subject areas and technical knowledge.

You might also have

  • Expertise with package managers such as npm, scripting and markup such as Helm, YAML, XML, TypeScript or Python.
