The opportunity

As a brand strategist, you will develop positioning recommendations, guide market research analysis, and define brand elements and tone. You will find strategies to enhance the branding of Unity’s portfolio of products and services, as well as clarify marketing plans through analysis of current market data and trends!

Armed with this understanding, you will help drive marketing projects forward. You should have well-rounded marketing knowledge, a desire to learn, a strong instinct for consumers’ needs, and a passion for solving problems of all shapes and sizes. You excel at collaborating with cross-functional colleagues and possess the interpersonal reflexes and excellent communication skills that are vital to working within the highly collaborative, productive, and super-fun Core Brand team!

What you’ll be doing

  • Define brand stories and strategies that set Unity apart from competitors, creating a strong position for market growth and recognition across channels.
  • Conduct research on current marketing strategies for products and services, customer profiles, and market share to develop a strong sense of strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities to improve brand positioning.
  • Develop and communicate an understanding of users’ technical, professional, and emotional needs and desires to help infuse Unity marketing and communications with greater resonance among various target consumer groups..
  • Work closely with product marketing managers across the company to help them bring a greater sense of brand awareness and cohesiveness to their marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to optimally translate a brand’s strategy or story into marketing collateral and advertising campaigns.
