Director of Marketing Operations

United Esports is an esports & gaming organization with market leading operations in esports marketing, esports bars, and investment spaces. Our award winning marketing team prides itself on bringing the best promotional entertainment to the world of esports & gaming.

We are experiencing outstanding growth as we rapidly develop our clients relationships and products, and we seek to bring on board a Director of Marketing Operations to help us execute and operate at a new level of scale in our esports marketing department, and to provide strategy to our other business units.

At its heart, this role provides key leadership in our marketing operations, processes and resource planning. Reporting to our top leadership team, this is a central and leading role to operationalize our marketing executionacross all our marketing subject areas.

As we are a growing company, the Director of Marketing Operations will also play a direct key account management and execution role for some of our most prestigious client accounts.

What You'll Do:

Be a game changer driving marketing excellence, as a leader and individual contributor

  • Run and continuously improve our global marketing client account operations with a focus on innovation and overperformance.
  • Lead through example by performing as the account lead for key client campaigns and programs, and for our owned and operated properties.

Drive progress through collaboration and process improvement.

  • Bolster our effectiveness by improving our workflows across marketing verticals, from influencer marketing to digital media buying, and community relations.
  • Team-up with other leaders at United Esports to improve the overall company effectiveness and to continuously innovate.

Focus on Innovation, Growth and Success

  • Always improve and always innovate by constantly improving our processes for efficiency and novelty. Craft never-seen-before marketing plans, develop and sustain our vendor and esports partners’ relationship.
  • Grow and develop a team of talented account managers and coordinators that have a shared passion for our mission and values.
  • Focus on data, success, and KPIs to always deliver demonstrable results and performance.

What You'll Bring:

Core experience

  • 10+ years in digital marketing across several marketing fields.
  • Experience working at a recognized digital marketing agency.
  • Expert knowledge and experience directly executing influencer marketing.
  • Expert knowledge and experience directly executing paid social marketing.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of people management experience, supervising and mentoring multiple direct reports and team.

Additional subject matter expertise and skills

  • Masterful organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of Twitch, Tik Tok, Twitter and Instagram.
  • Adaptable leader with demonstrated success leading cross-functional groups, achieving success through teamwork across multiple partners.
  • Strong operational skills with deep understanding of drivers of organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Gaming industry or entertainment industry experience is a plus.
  • Los Angeles Area Greatly Preferred.
