JOB DESCRIPTION

Integrated within the Voyager engine technology team and helping all of the BGE2 sub-teams, your role as Team Lead Data Analytics will be to develop and coordinate the various activities related to the project's telemetry data.

You will also be in charge of managing the resources required throughout the production cycle (Game data, Production data, Data Science, Live Operations Analytics, etc.)

Your missions and responsibilities will be divided into 4 parts:

Management

  • Resource and recruitment planning
  • Follow-ups with the team in order to advance in the development of their systems:
    • Data Analysts
    • Data Scientists
  • Monitoring of these teams (definition of objectives, performance management, etc.)

Project management and communication

  • Be identified as the “go-to” person when it comes to telemetry data on the project;
  • Definition of the strategy relating to telemetry data on the project;
  • Definition and communication of sprint and milestone objectives;

Expected deliverables around data

  • Formalization of project needs (design, business, operations), translation and delivery of quality data on time;
  • Preparation of ad-hoc reports to meet project needs;
  • Development of dashboards available for all team members on the project;
  • Monitoring and continuous analysis of data, proactive dissemination of clear recommendations when a problem or an opportunity is identified.

Coordination with internal and external teams

  • Analysis, proposal and development of responses to the needs of internal project teams (Quality, Technical Department, User Research, etc.)
  • Coordination with support teams external to the project, involved in data topics (Marketing, Business, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS

Background

  • Higher Education diploma (Master’s degree) in computer science, business school, engineering or equivalent;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in analytical teams and ideally with prior experience in team management.

Required Skills

  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Ability to understand business issues and provide relevant recommendations;
  • Ability to adapt to different types of stakeholders (directors, technical colleagues, external partners, etc.);
  • Experience in handling large volumes of data, producing reports, creating charts and visualizing statistical data;
  • In-depth knowledge of data analysis tools, software and systems (SQL Server, R, Tableau);
  • Fluent level of English.

Desired skills

  • Past experience in consumer data-oriented issues;
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language (Python ideally);
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning;
  • Strong interest in the video game industry.
