Job Description

Summary

The tester will ensure that the game data that is collected meets all Ubisoft standards and project requirements. The incumbent will carry out tests on several game consoles.

The department provides services from the early design stages to post-release. We work in close collaboration with the analytics team: GIA, Playtests, UOR.

Mission

The main responsibilities and routine tasks of the tester are:

  • Systematically verify each value entered based on sending conditions
  • Create and ensure follow up of issues compiled in adatabase
  • Contribute to the creation of test plans
  • Transfer and update test documents based on design documents and project modifications
  • Draft weekly and/or specific test reports
  • Ensure that project information is shared
  • Prioritize tasks and collaborate with team members
  • Manage external requests of verification or investigation of bugs in the data received
  • Carry out any other related tasks

Qualifications

Training

  • High school diploma
  • Game testing training

Relevant experience

  • 1 to 2 years’ experience as a tester

Knowledge

  • Excellent knowledge of French and English (spoken and written)
