As a QA Specialist, you’ll join the TG content pipeline and work to modernize the way artists work across Ubisoft.

You’ll be responsible for testing an ecosystem of products that facilitate the tasks of content creators, validating internal tools that allow them to manipulate, track, archive, share, and reuse assets. You’ll participate in the entire development cycle of our products, with a focus on feature analysis, implementing and executing test plans, and validating product releases.

What you’ll do

  • Ensure the quality of the deliverables of the team
  • Identify and report software defects and usability concerns
  • Define, maintain and evolve test plans
  • Create, analyze and share test reports
  • Build and maintain test documentation
  • Collaborate with the team to establish best practices
  • Work with QA Programmers to propose test plans for automation
  • Assist in implementing basic automated acceptance tests
  • Coordinate with Software Testers to execute test plans
  • Assist with first-line support for the product
  • Actively participate in the evolution of QA practices
  • Work on projects of your own initiative through our Innovation Jams

Qualifications

You’re rigorous about quality and tackle problems methodically. Your top-notch collaboration skills help you to take in lots of information from partners and translate it into clear plans and action items. Besides the above, we are looking for someone aligned with our studio’s core values and the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance or related experience (troubleshooting, testing)
  • Good knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Knowledge of bug tracking software (e.g. Jira) and test management tools (e.g. TestRail and Xray)
  • A strong understanding of the development process

The following skills would be a bonus:

  • Experience with Gherkin scripting language
  • Experience with debugging web applications
  • Experience with testing web APIs
  • Familiarity with digital asset creation
  • Understanding of agile practices
