Job Description

Within the Player Experience & Strategic Initiatives team at Ubisoft Mobile Games, you will contribute to market research, marketing analysis, strategic positioning & pricing, as well as recommendations for optimizing Ubisoft’s mobile game portfolio on the leading market platforms: Apple’s App Store and Google Play Store. To capture these insights, you will analyze various data sources daily.

You will develop expertise in key mobile gaming indicators and use industry-standard analytical tools, as well as innovative tools developed in-house.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Analyzing Ubisoft’s mobile portfolio performance:

  • Reviewing the launch performance of Ubisoft mobile games and analyzing store conversion indicators

  • Assessing the impact of promotional activities (price elasticity, revenue, downloads, etc.)

  • Analyzing the visibility promotion initiatives on Apple and Google stores

  • Writing a newsletter on the featuring performance of Ubisoft’s games on Apple and Google stores, aimed at headquarters teams and studios

  • Developing an analytical approach to different opportunities and understanding store expectations

Understanding player experience:

  • Monitoring key indicators to evaluate the quality of the player experience and providing recommendations for optimization

  • Collaborating with various Mobile Publishing teams to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data, providing a clear vision of game performance and defining an action plan

  • Assessing the impact of hardware and mobile OS evolutions on the market (downloads/revenue by geographic area, for example)

Monitoring competition and the market:

  • Conducting studies and benchmarks of mobile games by genre to assess potential market opportunities

  • Keeping track of upcoming mobile game releases to anticipate potential threats

  • Analyzing major competitor launches

  • Identifying high-potential markets to guide commercial efforts

  • Ensuring portfolio tracking consistency to maximize visibility and performance on our partner platforms

Qualifications

  • You are currently pursuing a higher education degree specializing in market analysis, business analytics, or marketing

  • Ideally, you have prior experience in a role combining performance analysis, free-to-play business models, and mobile distribution

  • Proficiency in Excel is essential, and knowledge of Tableau would be a plus

  • You enjoy working in a team, can manage priorities, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • You are dynamic, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal, creative, and writing skills

  • You have a fluent level of English, both written and spoken

  • You are passionate about the video game industry!

Recruitment process

If your application is chosen, you will be contacted by a member of the Campus Team to scheduled a phone exchange in order to determine if you’re the job description matches your profile, but also to what you are looking for.

If that exchange is successful, you will be submitted a case study to test your technical skills regarding the offer.

Finally, an interview will be organized (on site or through Teams) with your future manager and the Mobile Partnership Manager.
