Job Description
Our IT teams are central to the successful development of our video games. Whether for our players or for our employees, they are the guarantors of services and infrastructures equal to the greatest technological challenges.
The position is available in Ubisoft's worldwide IT department, and more specifically within the Production Services team, providing services and support to Ubisoft studios worldwide. Tools like GitLab, Artifactory and Perforce are essential building blocks in the process of video game creation. When supporting these tools, you will be in direct contact with Ubisoft’s core business!
As a Linux/Application Administrator you'll not only collaborate with your local colleagues but also with your global team members, making sure the production at Ubisoft is set up for success.
As such, you will have the following responsibilities:
Provide operational support for on-premise Perforce, GitLab and Artifactory deployments;
Provide end-user application support;
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents ;
Optimize and evolve current processes and solutions;
Collaborate with a worldwide team;
Interact with studios globally to understand requirements and propose practical, sustainable solutions;
Provide on-call weekend support once every two months.
Qualifications
What you'll bring
You have professional experience of working with Linux Environment as an Administrator or equivalent;
You acquired a significant knowledge in Linux and low-level concepts like disk configurations, filesystems and network configurations;
You have a good knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN or Perforce);
You are a strong communicator, customer-oriented and can easily get your point across;
You see yourself being resourceful and creative and strives to evolve and learn new technologies;
You have basic knowledge of cloud concepts and containerization;
You have the ability to take ownership of your tasks at hand.
