Job Description


The Level Design Intern will be responsible for setting up and maintaining various locations in an open world, using proprietary tools. Environment and layout aesthetic sensibilities will help a lot in this role.


  • Understand the part that his/her level plays in the overall game experience based on the Creative Director’s vision;

  • 3D Modeling and grey boxing experience;

  • Layout and design locations within an open world game, incorporating ingredients, crowds, collectibles and other elements;

  • Understand and implement level design metrics and technical constraints;

  • Share level and environmental design knowledge with the team;

  • Maintain and debug issues on your content;

  • Work in collaboration with the Level Artists to ensure that the playability of the level and the graphic elements support each other;

  • Control the accessibility, understanding, and level of difficulty of the level;

  • Correct the level design bugs entered into the database by testers;

  • Carry out all other related task



  • A strong level / environment design portfolio would be essential;

  • Experience in playing open-world action-adventure games;

  • Ability to work well as part of a team;

  • Creativity, ability to challenge the player;

  • Critical and analytical sense;

  • Structure and rigour;

  • Ability to put oneself in the player’s shoes.
