About the Role

Twitch is looking for an experienced Senior Event Manager to manage the Twitch presence at consumer trade shows, parties and other industry events and partner with the US team to produce TwitchCon Europe. You have 10+ years of experience building 1st and 3rd party experiential event presences that support strategic goals. Reporting to the Head of Events, you will also work closely with the marketing, sales, community, and partnerships teams to develop and execute event plans that deliver key messages, product information, improve brand awareness and engage new and existing customers.

You Will:

  • Define the strategy, roadmap and success metrics for all European events, ensuring they are built to meet brand, marketing and other Twitch team member goals
  • Share and communicate strategy within Twitch, obtain executive agreement and necessary approvals
  • Use a strategic mix of quantitative and qualitative customer insights to understand how best to create events that meet customer needs. Develop specific programs for each of our core audiences at events based on insights.
  • Manage event planning and operations from pre to post, including vendor sourcing, contracting, invoicing, logistics, management of building, sponsor integration, and onsite management.
  • Create execution plans and post-show reports for pre-planning communications and post-event evaluation to include tracking and reporting key performance metrics, objectives, and goals
  • Support the US-based project team responsible for execution of TwitchCon, including but not limited to operations, security, ticket sales, sales fulfillment and special events
  • Develop and manage P&L with accurate business forecasting and managing to budget for each event.
  • Work closely with other marketing disciplines including PR, Community, Product Marketing, Brand, Growth and Creative
  • Special Events - work to ensure brand values from concept launch through execution
  • Focus on innovation, develop programs and activations to surprise and delight the community at each event
  • Work with event organizers and partners to identify and create additional branding opportunities at events

You Have:

  • 10+ years experience of successfully developing and executing consumer-focused large scale trade shows and events
  • Proven success working on distributed teams, using matrixed resources, services and platforms
  • Well traveled, culturally sensitive, and able to balance human factors with professional expectations
  • Position is based in London
