About the Position

This is a contractor position with a fixed term. As Account Manager (EMEA) you’ll be part of the EMEA Business Development team and will report into a BD Senior Manager. You will provide operational support to a portfolio of 20+ Premium B2B Partners across the region (mainly from Esports and traditional Sports), and work cross-functionally to ensure the portfolio contributes to Twitch-wide goals.

You Will:

  • Assist the EMEA Business Development team with operational tasks, event activations, business processes, and the daily rhythm of business within the region.
  • Leverage Twitch data tools and anecdotal feedback to guide professional sports clubs on Twitch best practices, synthesize learnings, and unlock activations that feed the broader sports ecosystem (especially UGC).
  • Act as POC for core Esport partners to roll-out new sales and commerce opportunities, while maintaining current portfolio profitability and segment share
  • Track contractual obligations and reporting against Premium Sports/Esports deals
  • Drive UGC creator monetisation GTM with Partnership, Marketing, Amazon Retail, Sales and Original Content teams

Requirements

You are organized, detail-oriented, and creative. You enjoy ownership and working backwards to increase project effectiveness. You have a customer service mentality, a passion for live content, and the desire to apply that passion to a career. Basic requirements include:

  • 2+ years of experience in a strategic account management function
  • Self-starter mentality - must be able to effectively work independently and autonomously
  • Strong analytical skills - must be able to analyze data and communicate business proposals based on the findings
  • Capability of managing and completing multiple projects and priorities at the same time within a rapidly changing environment
  • Willingness to focus on setting and exceeding personal, team, and organisational goals
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (can utilise complex spreadsheets)

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with Twitch as a user and/or broadcaster
  • Written and verbal fluency in French, German, or Spanish
  • Experience within the Gaming, Content Creator, Sports, or Broadcasting space
  • Understanding of common online video and online advertising metrics
