What you will do
- Work on the high profile Star Citizen ecosystem in a development team responsible for its high traffic, large scale e-commerce platform. You will act as a key resource on this mandate, contributing to the project vision while being able to collaborate with all team members as well as the client. In other words: become essential to Star Citizen’s success!

You have Accomplished
- 8 years+ of experience in PHP development
- Excellent knowledge of Typescript (Node.js) and SQL
- Ability to visualize the interactions within a large scale project
- Experience with microservices and Cloud services (AWS, k8s)
- Strong experience building APIs (Rest and GraphQL)
- Strong experience and at ease in a Linux environment
- Great knowledge of version control systems (Git)
- Ability to work in English (Written and spoken)
- Strong experience with high volume web projects and systems
- Strong knowledge of security best practices for large scale projects
- Experience with search engines (Elastic Search); an asset
- Experience with Redis (caching and messaging); an asset
You’re Eager to Take On
- Develop and maintain sections and features of the Star Citizen project
- Produce accurate workload estimates and accurate timelines for specific tasks and feature development on the mandate
- Support team members in their daily tasks and coordinate actions with quality assurance and operation teams
- Set up and maintain the servers, databases, and web applications on assigned projects with PHP, MySQL and Linux.
- Execute deployments while making sure the platform remains functional and bug-free
- Perform code reviews and participate in the continuous improvement of the team’s code base and processes
