Tilting Point is looking for a QA Engineer to join our Saint-Petersburg Office. In this role, you’ll support from a QA perspective our multiple mobile titles. The ideal candidate is a mobile games expert, attentive to details and is comfortable working with teams in different locations and time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that our games meet internal standards
  • Provide QA assistance for internal developers
  • Create and execute test cases, plans, suites and report issues
  • Create and maintain QA documentation
  • Produce and present reports to QA Manager and Producers

The candidate must have:

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) is a strong must
  • 2 years experience in test roles in total
  • Solid understanding of test design techniques
  • Analytical skills – ability to not only report issues but also find the root cause
  • Soft skills that help with communication and organization
  • Ability to quickly adapt to the changing environment
  • Database and Test case test management software experience i.e. Jira, TestRail, Trello
  • Hands-on experience shipping mobile titles is a huge plus

Nice to have:

  • SQL knowledge and Data validation experience
  • Previous game development QA experience
  • Experience with analytic tools i.e. Amplitude, Leanplum
  • Strong understanding of microtransactions and gaming economy is a plus
  • Knowledge of other gaming platforms and systems like consoles, PC, Mac
