Our Cost Accountant will own the strategic and operative parts of Tilting Point’s Finance Team.

The Cost Accountant will provide financial support by ensuring payments are completed and expenses are controlled through detailed analysis and regular communication with vendors and internal business units. The ideal candidate will have an All Hands-on-Deck personality and ability to think outside the box.

Your future at Tilting Point:

  • Perform month end close activities related to cost accounting.
  • Review/process vendor invoices with a high level of accuracy and detail orientation, ensuring all proper approvals have been received.
  • Prepare monthly reporting for game studios and business units.
  • Issue wire payments and checks as part of ongoing treasury operations.
  • Review/process employee travel and expense reports in accordance with company T&E policies.
  • Prepare actual vs. budget analysis and various financial analyses related to operating and capital expenses.
  • Support development of financial models and other analytical tools and reports.
  • Provide support during the year-end financial statement audit.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with Game Managers to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Respond to internal and external billing inquiries and investigate/resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare corporate credit card reconciliations.
  • Support the Finance team at large with ad-hoc requests and projects.

Skills and requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a financial accounting role, including cost accounting.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and US GAAP.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct and Concur is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaborate in a cross-functional group.

This position is based in Barcelona.
