Tilting Point, the number 17th game maker of 2021, is seeking a talented a 2D Artist to create exciting art for existing and new games for our New York studio. This role will allow for a variety of art and art styles with a passionate and experienced team of artists and animators.
Your Future at TPM
- Create exciting, engaging art for our studio’s line of independently developed mobile games
- Art will include a broad range of subject matter and applications: environments, characters, props to name a few.
- Work closely with Senior and Leads from sketch to completion
- Contribute Ideas to team brainstorms and ideation
Your XP & Skills
- Strong knowledge of art fundamentals
- Expert understanding in the use of design concepts (layout, typography, strong color fundamentals, white space and grid, strong composition skills)
- 2+ years of experience as video game artist.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Love of mobile video games and understanding of video gamers’ expectations
- Excellent communication skills working with several departments on a daily basis
- Must work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Bonus Skills
- Familiarity with digital 2D animation pipeline
- Experience with Unity and Unreal game engines
- Familiarity with Spine, ToonBoom, After Effects, 3D software
- UI experience a plus
