Job Title: Identity & Access Management Security Engineer

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Security Engineer is responsible for researching, evaluating, designing, engineering and maintaining Identity, Access, Authentication and Audit solutions across The Pokémon Company International (TPCi) in support of the strategic security roadmap. The IAM Security Engineer will ensure solutions will meet the business needs of the enterprise, align with security and regulatory policy, and protect the data of our employees and customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Create new and improve policies and standards for IAM and data loss prevention.
  • Provide oversight and guidance of Identity and Access Management Business Processes to ensure solutions adhere to all IAM standards and policies.
  • Lead role in the design, implementation, and deployment of new or enhanced IAM technologies and systems.
  • Work with managers and business units to understand business requirements, enterprise standards, and other considerations to make updates to existing IAM technologies and systems.
  • Define requirements and drive implementation of detective and preventative controls for TPCi intellectual property.
  • Provide security expertise and consulting to partner teams in Tech and across the enterprise.
  • Alongside the Information Security team, responsible for responding to and remediating security events / incidents.
  • Collaborate with the Information Security team to ensure successful completion of our roadmaps and initiatives.
  • Work leveraging an agile methodology by making iterative progress toward achieving individual, team, and organizational objectives.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3 - 4 years of experience in Information Security
  • 1 - 3 year of experience in Identity Access Management role in a Technology organization.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in related technology functions, such as infrastructure/cloud engineering or software development.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of information security, compliance, and IAM concepts and technologies
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements, such as Payment Card Industry (PCI), Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Knowledge of current security trends and technologies
  • Experience working with security vendors and developing recommendations based on evaluating products and analyzing functionality
  • BS Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and/or equivalent working experience.
  • Information Security certifications (CISSP, SANS GIAC, CISA, etc.) a plus

What to Expect

We offer a professional, fun and creative work environment. While we maintain a good balance between work and life, additional hours may be required at peak times or for specific initiatives, including a requirement that all team members rotate on-call responsibilities to respond to any emergency situations. Travel between office locations internationally may be required on occasion, with occasional domestic travel as needed.
