The Home Key is a growing start up that's building a professional workspace for the esports and gaming community in Downtown Vancouver. As we finalize our building permit and head into renovations shortly, we're looking for a Business Development Lead to develop partnerships, membership leads & social strategies for our company.

Initially this will be a contracted position with a monthly stipend until we open our space ( rough timeline 3 - 4 months). The role has the potential to then develop into a salaried position + equity. As we're a small team, we're always open to creative ideas and the proper candidate will have the ability to take on a leadership role in a rapidly growing esports industry.

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in the start up industry
  • Sales or Marketing background
  • Experience creating social media/brand strategy
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
  • Knowledge of esports & gaming
  • Strong people skills: Our company's mission is to build with, not just for the community. We serve as a central hub that connects the different stakeholders of the industry so we need someone who is invested in making everyone feel included, welcomed and respected in our space.

Monthly Stipend: $1500

Ideally would have someone who can work in our office 4-5 days a week. We're flexible with our schedule and can figure out some remote work as well.

Timeline: willing to take on this position for at least 3 months

Start date: as soon as possible
