The Awkward Company is currently looking for an intermediate-level Video Editor.

1 - 2 years of experience in Adobe Premiere is necessary, experience in any other form of visual editing such as Adobe After Effects is a plus. The position will mainly be focused on editing gaming content, specifically Roblox and Minecraft content for various YouTube channels.

We are looking for individuals who are looking to learn and understand the YouTube business and excel in the video editing field in this industry. The individual will also learn about utilizing YouTube data and how to apply AVD to the growth of a YouTube channel.

All applicants should be enthusiastic about learning, motivated to improve, and excel in all aspects of the position.

Responsibilities:

• Raw video footage will be sent in a pre-clipped and pre-sync'd method.
• The editor will clean up the raw footage and add any visual and audio effects to add value to the video.
• Bring creative ideas and pitch new methods to improve the video.
• Create or obtain any graphics and typography for the video edit.
• Gather and apply fresh music and sound effects from provided sources.
• Develop skills by researching new techniques to stay up to date in the video production field and trends.
