We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Esports Lead who can spearhead and develop all things Esports for Techxhub group including managing ecosystem partnerships with Esports organizations, tournaments / events, teams, brand sponsorships and more.

We are looking for someone with passion, ambition, and a lot of will to execute and build Techxhub Esports ecosystem alliances from ground up to scale across Middle East & Africa and India.

The role requires the candidate to build, manage and develop long-term relationships with regional and local esports industry participants to achieve the targeted exposure of Techxhub brands to gaming community. Increasing gamer interaction and engagement, identifying new Esports partnerships / opportunities for business growth and implement action plans as per the timelines with be the core role.

You are a passionate gamer, enthusiastic about esports and social media savvy with an aspiration to grow beyond as part of gaming industry from a business perspective.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships relevant to eSports events including league organizers, gaming cafes, and teams
  • Promote eSports ecosystem. Plan and execute ground level eSports events across the region.
  • Manage vendors, partners, developers, and other stakeholders to conceptualize, plan, set-up, and execution of events across the region successfully
  • Business development and sales including sponsorship agreements, hardware sales, growing brands customer base or fanbase, and coming up with new ideas to generate excitement around a brand and generate revenues
  • Administer game competitions and eSport leagues in physical events / online platforms.
  • Oversee organization and set-up of all Competition and training room PC installations, address technology/gameplay issues
  • Broadcast and/or streaming of esports events
  • Plan and execute eSports marketing campaigns. Content marketing on Social Media & SEO/SEM programs and fans engagement
  • Manage brand product messages on eSports social media, forums and relevant communities Monitor key performance indicators to ensure the growth of eSports
  • Uphold the quality and integrity of eSports events / tournaments and partnership agreements.
  • Review and prepare post event reports and processes after each eSports event

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience :

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 3-5 years of related experience in digital sales, e-commerce and social media campaigns
  • Solid knowledge and interest in gaming
  • Exceptional technical knowledge of PC computers and gaming set-ups
  • Experience working in business development in gaming industry dealing with PC components and hardware will be added advantage
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and operating in a start-up environment
  • Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written, additional Arabic knowledge is beneficial
