Tech Time Gaming Lounge, the Washington, DC area’s newest PC gaming center, is looking for an associate to join our team! Featuring 69 PC and console gaming stations, a blazing fast gigabit fiber connection, and ultra-comfortable racing chairs, we are a destination for serious and casual gamers across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Handle cash and credit card transactions with customers using cash registers.
  • Scan goods, add playing time and set up memberships for customers.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, and change.
  • Greet customers as they enter and leave the store.
  • Pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Make sales referrals, upsell products.
  • Assist customers who are having difficulties with gaming equipment.
  • Resolve customer complaints.
  • During birthday parties, assist children and parents with moving between party room and gaming stations, room setup and cleanup, and gaming on PCs.
  • Cash out drawer at end of shift.
  • Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
  • Open or close store at beginning or end of day.

Requirements

  • Successful working experience in retail cashier or sales environments.
  • Comfort working around and with computers.
  • Attention to detail and good math skills.
  • Good customer interaction and sales skills.

You’ll Get Extra Credit For These

  • Knowledge of and passion for video games!
  • Basic PC maintenance and troubleshooting skills.

Hours

  • 4 to 8 hour shifts, during business hours of 3:00pm to 1:00am Monday-Thursday and 10:00am to 1:00am Friday-Sunday.
