Team 17 Digital Limited is seeking to hire a Senior Technician to work on our Service Desk. The focus will be on managing the service desk queue, taking ownership of the more complex tickets and mentoring Junior Technicians.

We are looking for a candidate who is ready for the challenge of working as part of a team in an organisation with a global brand and over 300 employees.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate to learn and expand their knowledge of all areas of technology in a fast-moving environment undergoing significant technical and cultural transformation.

The successful candidate will need to be an excellent communicator and team player. The IT team work very closely internally and with all members of staff at the organisation and the candidate will be a very visible face of the department.

The role will have core ownership of a number of key tools in our environment, examples are KnowBe4, DocuSign, TeamViewer, BeyondTrust, LastPass, Mimecast.

A calm, logical and considered approach to problems and situations is also required. Many issues arising in the company’s particular industry are often without precedent and must be analysed and resolved intelligently.

We are looking for excellent fault finding and troubleshooting skills, with a collaborative approach to work and an enthusiastic can-do attitude. The role will offer hands on experience with a multitude of exciting, technologies ranging from security to games console, from AV to games development software.

Requirements

Essential experience with:

  • Microsoft Technologies: Active Directory, GPO, DNS/DHCP
  • Office 365
  • Service Desk / ITSM platforms
  • OS Deployment tools (MDT, PDQ, InTune)
  • PowerShell
  • Strong documentation skills

Desired experience with:

  • ITIL
  • Linux
  • MacOS
  • Backup solutions
  • Adobe / Autodesk products
  • Supporting Games Development

A full clean driver’s license will be required for infrequent visits to other sites
