Marketing Assistant

We are currently looking to hire a Marketing Assistant to assist Team 17's branding team as our business grows from strength to strength. Acting as support to our Brand Managers, you will provide essential assistance to ensure that our marketing campaigns across all Team 17 IPs and brands are conducted smoothly and succesfully, to ensure that we can always provide our players, suppliers and key partners with the great games that they expect from our company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the marketing team in delivering global marketing campaigns for all Team 17 products.
  • Ownership of the marketing asset schedules and managing the pipeline of deliverables, working with internal and external stakeholders to obtain all necessary approvals and deliver on schedule.
  • Evangelising product potential both internally and externally, quickly developing an in-depth understanding of all Team 17 products.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and third-party developers.
  • Working with the Creative Services Department to record gameplay footage for trailers.
  • Taking screenshots for marketing, community and sales purposes.
  • Playing and providing feedback on game builds for our Greenlight team.
  • Working with the Brand, Community and PR teams to deliver regular metrics reporting to Senior Management.
  • Working with the Brand Managers in maintaining first class platform holder (Microsoft, Sony, Valve and Nintendo) relationships ensuring regular communication of plans, managing the creation and uploading of assets to platform stores and assisting in the negotiation of possible co-marketing and PR support.
  • Attending consumer and media events within the UK or overseas as required as an ambassador for Team 17 products.
  • Additional duties as required.

Skills & Experience

  • A passion for video games and a strong interest in marketing.
  • Games industry experience preferred but not essential.
  • Proven organisational and time management skills.
  • Marketing experience is desired but not essential.
  • Computer literate – experience with MS Office and Adobe Photoshop preferred.
  • Ability to track, measure and feedback on progress across all tasks.
  • Must have the ability to think on their feet and work under their own initiative.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate across all levels and cultures.
