We are searching for a hardworking International Benefits Manager to our team!

This is an exciting opportunity to join a diverse team in a newly created position that supports 6,000 employees worldwide at a forward-thinking, highly successful video game company. This hands-on role is a key benefits position for the company outside of North America, and the position is both strategic and operational.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the company’s benefits strategy in all countries outside of North America, including the UK, India, Spain, China, Czech Republic, Ireland, Singapore, Germany, Korea, France, Australia, Netherlands, Japan, Hungary, Switzerland, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and New Zealand
  • Support Senior Manager, International Benefits with contract and policy renewals and the benchmarking / analysis of benefit programs to ensure they are competitive, efficient, and in keeping with what is customary in each region
  • Assess market trends and employee requests for new benefits and design changes
  • Provide strategic recommendations on program design and delivery
  • Lead RFP processes during searches for new vendors and handle due diligence for benefit programs with respect to mergers and acquisitions
  • Support the team with the implementation of new benefit programs, vendors, and processes
  • Help maintain broker and other vendor relationships
  • Support the development and delivery of employee communications
  • Assist with the management of the international benefits budget whilst helping to provide financial reporting to key stakeholders, e.g., Senior Director Global Benefits, label HR heads, studio heads, and Finance
  • Provide quality assurance reviews of financial reporting produced by other members of the team
  • Help resolve benefits program issues escalated by local HR teams
  • Build excellent relationships with internal clients
  • Help find opportunities to harmonise benefits across labels and regions
  • Work with Legal and Payroll to maintain compliance with all local regulations
  • Assist with global benefit programs and provide project management support when needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field
  • 2+ years of project management experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with due diligence on benefits with respect to mergers and acquisitions
  • Familiarity with statutory requirements, regulations governing benefit plans and programs, and what offerings are customary in the UK, India, Spain, China, Czech Republic, Ireland, Singapore, Germany, Korea, France, Australia, Netherlands, Japan, Hungary, Switzerland, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and New Zealand
  • Understanding of and sensitivity to cultural and regional differences
  • Ability to travel when needed
  • Outstanding high-touch customer service and follow-up skills; consulting experience is highly desireable
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and vendor leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must possess a high attention to details and take ownership of keeping track of and closing out open items.
