The Challenge

We’re searching for a ERP Finance Business Analyst to join our team in London!

The successful ERP Finance Business Analyst will play a key role within ERP team, helping to analyze business needs and requirements, to modify, improve and support the business processes through the use of JD Edwards E9.2 (Oracle Enterprise One) ERP software system and complimentary systems, for Finance, Sales and Distribution modules.

The successful candidate will also Initiate and lead related projects and system improvements, working closely with the business teams, external / internal developers and support resources to ensure the business requirements are correctly fulfilled.

What You’ll Take On

  • Design/develop and implement system requirements and improvements for the finance functions, providing direction and quality assurance within the business.

  • Gather and analyze business requirements, identify options and recommend solutions.

  • To manage the implementation of system changes within the ERP environments before being promoted through to the production environment.

  • To provide/review analysis, development, testing and implementation of interfaces, system changes and data conversion.

  • Ensure compliance with internal Business and SOX change control procedures.

  • Help support the IT helpdesk function through resolving of tickets, root cause analyst, Project allocation, knowledge transfer and providing JDEdwards back-up support when critically required (ad-hoc) during month-end weekends.

  • Work with external consultants to develop improved ERP application solutions.

Building and Developing Relationships

  • Champion IT initiatives and strong commercial awareness, understanding departmental functions.

  • Strong customer focus and service level approach.

  • Build and maintain good working relationships with other staff within I.T. and Business users.

What You Bring

  • Must have at least one full project life cycle implementation experience.

  • Experience of leading projects, writing technical specification and creating test plans.

  • Advanced knowledge and experience of JDE Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP application system for Finance together with Sales & Distribution process knowledge.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to prioritize workload/project requirements and delegate tasks to available resources.

  • Some ERP database knowledge/understanding gained through work or as part of further/ higher education.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, Results focussed.

  • Proactive approach and an ability to understand the larger business reporting implications.
