We are looking for a Growth Lead for our Developer Relations team in Helsinki. The team is responsible for our venture investments in external game studios. We are investors in several amazing game studios located in Europe, the US and Australia. Although our investee companies operate completely independently from us, we provide support to them in a number of areas and we are now looking to bolster our ability to help the investee companies scale their businesses. You will be responsible for working closely with our investee companies to kickstart their growth and support them as they grow from start-ups to globally successful mobile game companies. You will hire and lead a small growth team of best-in class performance marketing and data analytics experts to help the investee companies get off the ground and eventually set up their own performance marketing and analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our investee companies to understand their needs and help them grow their business as they transition from start-ups to globally successful mobile game companies
  • Hire and lead a small growth team to provide hands-on support to the investee companies with performance marketing and data analytics
  • Collaborate with our internal teams to effectively support our investee companies
  • Help the investee companies build their own growth teams and identify the right tools to get the job done
  • Develop and manage external partner relationships with app stores, marketing platforms and agencies, technology providers and other key players in the mobile games ecosystem

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience in digital marketing and 3+ years of proven performance marketing experience. Ideally you have direct or indirect experience from scaling a mobile game or B2C app from soft launch through global launch
  • 5+ years experience of managing a team of 3+ people
  • Experience from building and leading a growth team, ideally in a start-up environment
  • Deep understanding of commonly used performance marketing and data analysis platforms and best practices
  • Familiarity with other aspects of scaling mobile games (community, brand etc.)
  • Strategic mindset to help investee companies think holistically about growth combined with the hands-on desire to get the companies up and running
  • Strong ownership, project management and prioritization skills – own everything like it’s your own business
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time (visits to investee companies, company and team off-sites, industry conferences)
  • A passion for games, start-ups and supporting businesses as they grow. You thrive when you help others succeed
  • Fluency in English
