We're looking for a technically-leaning Product Manager to assist in the prioritization and sequencing of the cross-functional work that Subspace will deliver as a company. The ideal candidate lives on the forefront of the game industry, understands the developer tool space for game companies, and gets how game companies are evolving. Overall, they will help us thrive in a competitive landscape.

What you'll be doing:

  • Partner closely with senior leaders of our technical teams to define our strategy, business goals and core milestones
  • Partner closely cross-functionally to establish and execute a robust roadmap
  • Evangelize Subspace internally and externally
  • Collaborate deeply cross-functionally and with our partners and clients to identify the best opportunities for Subspace - and above all, our clients
  • Serve as a thought leader through deep empathy for our partners and elite knowledge of the competitive landscape
  • Develop and thoroughly present go-forward recommendations, both tactically and strategically

This job might be for you if you have:

  • Expertise with game development, developer platform products and the gaming industry overall
  • Experience as a PM within the enterprise space, having successfully owned and shipped a product from inception to delivery
  • A strong understanding of the tools game developers use
  • Experience performing product-driven quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Knowledge of Unreal, Unity, Improbable, and Stadia, among other technologies
  • Extraordinary communication skills and experience presenting complex topics to broad audiences - both internal and external
  • Ability to execute with limited oversight and guidance beyond high-level objectives
  • An intuitive approach to what it means to be a Product Manager with regards to developing and pivoting process and strategy in a fast-speed, ever-changing landscape
  • Ability to navigate and thrive in ambiguity
  • A true team player mentality and an upbeat, positive attitude; you can collaborate with engineers, designers, and other cross-functional teams

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, economics, science, psychology, or mathematics or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of product management experience at a gaming, b2b or platform-focused company
