Stream Hatchet is a leading data analytics company in the esports and gaming streaming industries. We help businesses measure the performance of live streams on Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook to power content insights, sponsorship performance and gaming creator marketing.

Stream Hatchet is currently seeking a Technical Account Manager to help amplify sales to video game publishers, brands and esports teams. The account manager will work closely alongside the sales team to identify the questions customers are looking to solve. The account manager will work with the product team to determine the best services to solve those questions.

The candidate should possess some account management experience, have strong writing skills, and the initiative to work across departments. An understanding of the revenue lines in the esports and video games market is necessary in order to position the correct product offerings. Ability to utilize CRM tools including HubSpot or Salesforce is highly desirable in order to manage sales processes.

A passion and endemic knowledge of the esports and video game ecosystem is essential as Stream Hatchet works closely with leading game publishers, gaming brands, agencies and technology companies. Experience at a prior role in B2B SaaS sales or at another esports team/agency is beneficial.

This position will report into the VP of Customer Success.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a primary face, voice, and point of contact for Stream Hatchet’s customers throughout the lifecycle from onboarding, adoption, advocacy and renewal
  • Develop customer relationships, ensuring they understand our services and we understand their goals
  • Work closely with customers to understand their business challenges and recommend creative strategies to increase value with Stream Hatchet
  • Provide training and education on our services and tools through demos and custom guides.
  • Collaborate with customers during the onboarding process to integrate their reporting needs into Stream Hatchet’s systems
  • Ensure customers are successfully leveraging Stream Hatchet reporting to enhance live gaming activations
  • Coordinate all Stream Hatchet teams to deliver the best in class Publishing services on the market
  • Assist with assigning JIRA tickets and managing tasks for the UA team and developers
  • Monitor and manage customer health to proactively identify customer issues and needs and address to the delight of the customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • 2 - 5 years Experience at a media agency, B2B SaaS company, or esports team/agency. Experienced in customer-facing customer success, account management, or business development roles in gaming/software/advertising industry
  • Excellent organizational and note keeping skills
  • Expert with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with CRM tools: HubSpot and/or Salesforce
  • Familiar with Asana, JIRA, Monday or other project management software
  • Experience presenting to external stakeholders and make them feel comfortable
  • Data-driven and analytical: You are hypothesis-driven and are able to structure, implement and evaluate growth experiments with a creative and innovative mindset
  • Passion for Video Game Streaming, esports and broader industry
