Strange Loop is looking to hire an experienced Unity programmer to help build Eco, the Eco engine, and future games based on the core technology. Join us as we work to bring games into education in a new way, creating worlds where students collaboratively apply what they’re learning. Remote work and variable work-hours are accepted, much of the team works remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Work on programming tasks in the Eco client (built in Unity) and the Eco server (built in C# .NET)
- Join the team in design discussions
- Participate with the community and playtest
Requirements:
- Unity experience 3+ years
- Experience in building complex solutions where you solve optimization, multi-threading, network communication tasks
- Strong in OOP, data structures and algorithms
- Portfolio with game-related projects
- Provide code sample
- Provide references
