About Us

Strafe is one of the leading esports media platforms in the world. We're the team behind Strafe.com and TheSpike.gg, with millions of fans visiting us for news, stats, schedules, guides, and — soon — betting content.

We’re looking for a Frontend Developer who is excited about building fast, beautiful, and user-friendly experiences that help shape the future of esports media.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain responsive, performant, and polished frontend features across Strafe.com, TheSpike.gg, and new initiatives.

  • Collaborate with product, design, and editorial teams to bring ideas to life.

  • Help build and maintain our shared design system.

  • Support multi-language capabilities and mobile-first design.

  • Implement and improve ad placements with both UX and monetization in mind.

  • Occasionally collaborate on backend integrations (CMS, APIs, etc.).

  • Keep an eye on performance, UX, and user engagement metrics.

  • Contribute to ideation and product discovery — we value developers who bring creative feature ideas to the table.

  • Stay curious about new tools, trends, and AI-powered workflows that could enhance our product experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5 years experience in frontend development.

  • Proficient with React (Next.js) and Tailwind.

  • A strong sense for UI/UX polish, spacing, and responsiveness.

  • Familiarity with performance tools (Lighthouse, Web Vitals).

  • Understanding of SEO best practices for frontend.

  • Bonus points for experience with:

    • Cloudflare Workers / Vercel / AWS

    • Affiliate/ad network integrations

    • Headless CMS like Strapi

    • Analytics tools and KPI monitoring

  • Passion for esports, gaming, or digital media is a big plus!

  • Curiosity about AI, automation, and emerging tech is very welcome.

What We Offer

  • The chance to shape and ship features on two high-traffic esports platforms.

  • A remote-first culture with team members across Sweden, Brazil, EU, and more.

  • A small, fast-moving product team where your ideas are heard and valued.

  • Freedom to experiment and push improvements with real impact.

  • A focus on quality over quantity — we ship smart, not fast.

How to Apply

Send us your CV, portfolio, GitHub, or links to anything you're proud of. No need for a formal cover letter — just tell us briefly why you’re excited about this role and what kind of frontend challenges you enjoy solving.
