ur team at Stoic, a 4-time BAFTA nominated video game company, is seeking a Sr. Animator to join our already stellar team. Come join a creative team of dedicated game developers, as we embark on a new journey!
As a Sr. Animator on the Stoic project team, you will work to give life to bi-pedal characters and monsters in a wide variety of animations ranging from fast-paced combat-to-cinematics and elevate the level of quality to our new title. Strong teamwork and proactive communication skills are critical, as our team is highly collaborative. You will be responsible for animations ranging from character and combat/fighting (hand-keyed action combat, including poses, silhouettes, weight, etc.) to simpler ambient animations that will keep the world of the game alive.

Responsibilities:
- Generate gameplay and character animation
- Work closely with other Animators to drive the quality of animation to another level
- Quick iteration
- Understand the game design
- Collaborate with Artists to improve existing and prototype further animation pipelines – will export and integrate animations in Unreal 4
- Create high-quality hand-keyed gameplay animations (body, facial, poses, etc.)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education is preferred
- 5+ years of relevant experience in the Animation field for Games
- Experience and expertise in Console or PC AAA titles is a must – having shipped AAA (PC or Console) titles is required
- Experience working in Unreal Engine 4
- Expertise in Maya is highly preferred
- Experience working in rigging, modeling, texturing
- Agile / Scrum methodology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and a motivated self-starter with a positive attitude in the workplace
