Stoic is seeking a 3D Character Artist for the development of our next project. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work directly with our team of highly creative Designers, Artists and Engineers. You will ensure that our project is delivered on-time and on-budget while maintaining a high-level of quality.
What You Will Do
Work closely with the Art Team to bring a stunning new world with exciting settings and creatures to life
Create a wide variety of characters, wearables, weapons, and creatures
Be proactive and an active contributor to ideas
Be able to work independently
Need to Have
4+ years of experience working in a Studio Art capacity delivering high-quality 3D Character Art using tools such as ZBrush, Maya, and Unreal (experience with skinning, in Maya, is a bonus)
World-class mastery of human and animal anatomy both realistic and stylized
Strong eye for pose, proportion, color, perspective and composition
Ability to contribute to an established, unique Art style and push it to the next level
Experience and expertise in Console or PC AAA titles
Nice to Have
At least 1 shipped title
Familiarity with best-in-class Games as a Service (GaaS)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
A proven track record of successfully shipping software on time
