The Role

The role as E-Commerce and Marketing Manager is important for the region to reach sales targets. The job is to drive brand awareness and generate sales through state-of-the-art e-commerce and marketing planning, execution, and sales support in close cooperation with SteelSeries’ regional sales director and our customers. The regional E-Commerce and Marketing Manager bridges marketing and sales and you will be measured on the regional sales targets.

You are responsible for the local marketing plan, and you run the marketing calendar across the region driving demand for our award-winning products. The activities planned by the E-Commerce and Marketing Manager draw on multiple facets and the daily work will therefore require close dialogue with a very wide range of stakeholders – the regional sales director, EMEA marketing, SteelSeries’ global creative team and our local customers.

You will be the cornerstone in the dialogue with our customers assuring that we get closer to them, and secure implementation of rich ecommerce content on customer websites, marketing activities and promotions, press awards and other demand-driving activities.

As part of the job, you will be handling our local PR Agency and help execute the global strategy in key CIS markets. The role is based in Moscow and will require at least 40 days of travelling per year.

Core Responsibility

In alignment with the regional sales-director, our customers and EMEA marketing you will be responsible for

  • High level 6-month marketing planning and detailed quarterly marketing planning and budgeting
  • Activation of local PR Agency, which handles PR and Social Media Marketing
  • Participation in customer meetings to assure full activity alignment and integration of best in class marketing content on etail sites
  • Project management and execution of all marketing activities including paid marketing, influencer-marketing and performance marketing
  • Planning and executing of retail investments, sales campagins and other sell out activities with customers
  • Adopt and share best practice across the EMEA region with e-commerce and marketing teams

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

  • Hands on experience with digital advertising and/or marketing
  • Proven ability to create demand and sales through marketing
  • Project planning and management
  • Experience within e-commerce and online marketing
  • Experience within SoMe, influencers and public relations
  • Budgeting and negotiation with external suppliers and stakeholders
  • Fluent in Russian and English

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with sales
  • Experience working in consumer electronics
  • Gaming or esports background

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role

  • A hands-on attitude and outgoing personality
  • Self-driven with ability to make decisions and get things moving
  • Structured and good at finalizing projects
