We are looking for a skilled Minecraft Bedrock Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and a strong team player. In this role, you'll work closely with talented artists, animators, level designers, and audio engineers to develop high-quality entities and systems.
Responsibilities
Design and implement gameplay systems for large-scale Minecraft Bedrock Edition projects.
Collaborate with other developers to integrate various gameplay systems seamlessly.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure assets and systems align with the project's vision.
Communicate technical aspects, constraints, and new developments to team members and stakeholders.
Innovate and develop new systems to enhance gameplay within Minecraft Bedrock.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure a smooth gameplay experience.
Implement art assets in alignment with quality standards and project goals.
Write clean, understandable code that can be easily maintained and explained to other team members.
Requirements
Technical
Background in technical art, including the implementation of assets.
Strong understanding of Minecraft Bedrock Edition and its mechanics.
Experience in the creation and upkeep of content for the Minecraft Bedrock Marketplace.
History of delivering high-quality Bedrock projects .
Extensive experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript and the Minecraft Bedrock scripting API.
Proven experience in developing Minecraft Bedrock projects.
Proficiency with Git for version control.
Experience creating and working with Minecraft behavior and resource packs.
Deep knowledge of Minecraft entity behaviors, default mechanics, and commands/functions.
Bonus: Hands-on experience designing and maintaining live game services such as backend systems, player analytics pipelines, event scheduling, and engagement/retention systems
Bonus: Background in system planning and architecture design for scalable content delivery, live service platforms, or continuous deployment environments - Minecraft Java server experience, Roblox game development, or cross-industry experience welcome
Non-Technical
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Applicants must be older than 18 years old.
Commitment between 30-40 hours per week.
