Stardock is currently seeking a talented and organized Associate Quality Assurance Analyst to work alongside our internal QA, developers and artists! The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is responsible for driving projects to success, has an acute attention to detail, and has a passion for supporting the development process at every step of a project. This is a salaried, full-time position located at and reporting to our Plymouth, Michigan studio.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Review Stardock software and games for usability.
Test software and games to identify bugs and stress points.
Verify our software and games in an ongoing capacity for compatibility and quality throughout its lifecycle.
Understand and follow all instructions throughout the defined workflow process.
Document clear and concise steps to reproduce in bug report.
Utilize Jira or similar bug tracking software to log issues and notes.
Thoroughly investigate and analyze issues to troubleshoot and diagnose root causes.
Education and/or Experience Desired:
Working knowledge of personal computers, software and hardware.
Proficiency using Mac/Microsoft applications and operating systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and stay focused on the task at hand.
Acute attention to detail.
Previous QA experience with either software or games, preferred.
Passion for personal computer gaming and utilization of desktop enhancement software, preferred.
