Job Summary:

The PR Executive will work within the UK territory team to assist the PR manager in planning and executing PR campaigns for allocated products releasing in the UK.

As a key member of the UK PR and marketing team you will be a multi-skilled PR professional able to support the PR manager to create PR plans that maximise media coverage, and ensure delivery of communication campaigns on times, on spec and within budget.

The successful candidate will have experience having worked as a PR assistant or equivalent, and are looking for their next step.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Work with the PR Manager to deliver required PR activities and meet or exceed yearly revenue targets for the PAL market.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the PR Manager to create, plan and execute PR & communication strategies for products releasing in the UK market. Ensure that all assets, press releases and other PR opportunities are fully maximised
  • Maintain press coverage reporting for products released in the UK market
  • Copy creation across variety of disciplines - advertorial, promotional activity etc
  • Build effective working relationships with internal marketing and influencer managers and champion UK PR needs where required
  • Support the PR manager to co-ordinate announcements, review codes and asset distribution to UK press
  • Maintain and update media lists and contact databases
  • Support in coordinating press events and conferences
  • Ad hoc tasks as and when required

Knowledge & Experience:

Essential

  • Experience at PR Assistant level or equivalent
  • Intimate, in-depth knowledge of the videogame market
  • Knows and can articulate what ‘great looks like’ in games

Desirable

  • Degree or diploma in PR, marketing or a related field
  • Experience of working in a PR agency either in the UK or overseas
  • Experience working at a Japanese company
  • Ability to execute on a wide variety of concurrent projects on schedule in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrable understanding of social media and how to employ it within PR campaigns
  • Strong understanding of requirements of UK media
