Then look no further than this exciting new opportunity to join the Square Enix family as our 3rd Party Privacy Risk Manager based in the London Office (working from home until the time is right for us to safely return to office buildings!). In this role, you’ll be working closely with key stakeholders to identify, assess, document, review and, where possible, mitigate 3rd Party Privacy Risks. You’ll also be managing our end-to-end 3rd party risk management process and working with the DPO in helping continue to drive a culture of data protection and privacy risk awareness across our global teams and offices.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Work with key stakeholders to identify, assess, document and regularly review the data protection and privacy risks associated with our 3rd parties, including vendors, partners and outsourcers.
  • Work with our Live Events teams to help identify, assess, document and mitigate data protection and privacy risks.
  • Work with our game development teams to help identify, assess, document, mitigate and understand the data protection and privacy risks, as well as the effects of the impact of these risks.
  • Completing and reviewing data protection and privacy 3rd party risk assessments.
  • Manage the continual development of the Risk Assessment Portal.
  • Managing the end-to-end process of Security, It Operations and Privacy risk assessments (e.g. ensuring teams are meeting agreed SLAs).
  • Maintain an inventory of 3rd parties who process our data, what data they process and the purpose(s) of their processing, including the lifecycle of the data within the 3rd party.
  • Collaborating with the Data Protection and Privacy Team to assess, monitor, mitigate and report on privacy risks.
  • Managing the Risk Advisory team on assessments and the ongoing monitoring of risks.
  • Carrying out ongoing lifecycle review of the effectiveness of the overall process.
  • Communicating the Square Enix Risk Assessment Management Framework to stakeholders, including training and workshops.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of data protection and privacy risks.
  • Ability to work with, and influence, key senior stakeholders across all areas of a business.
  • Ability to leverage and utilize data, analytics and metrics in the identification, assessment, evaluation, reporting and monitoring of risk.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of data protection law and practices.
  • Enthusiastic team player with excellent collaboration and relationship building skills.
  • Good project management mindset, with experience building, implementing and maintaining global privacy risk processes at large organisations.
  • A high level of discretion, confidentiality and diplomacy.
  • Expert user of Microsoft Office suite, including SharePoint Online.

Desirable

  • Data Protection or Privacy Certification (e.g. CIPP/E).
  • Experience working in 3rd party risk management.
  • Bachelors degree.
  • Second language.
