Responsibilities:
Implement artwork from environment and prop artist
Create LOD’s and collisions for game ready assets
Set up placeholder assets with the correct naming and file structure for the asset, blueprints, and materials
Implement prototypes and final assets into the game.
Contribute to the team-oriented environment
Address and re-implement assets to fix errors
Requirements
2+ years of working experience as an Environment/3D Props Artist
Solid modeling skills using Blender and Maya, shown in portfolio
Understanding of modular environment workflow
Proficiency with software packages and tools of the games industry
Experience in optimizing polygon counts, creating and managing LODs, and setting up collision models
Ability to receive and apply constructive feedback
Self-motivation, good communication skills, and a great team-player attitude
Would be a plus:
Moderate experience with Unreal Engine 5 or other game engines
Have a QA mindset and problem-solving skills to identify and make fixes to assets as needed
