Summary

As a Growth Hacke you are expected to work cross-functionally across all the teams in the company; from engineering, marketing all the way to business & product development.

Responsibilities

  • Choosing micro KPIs to focus on in accordance with the business vision and the macro KPIs.
  • Focus on growing both the micro & macro KPI’s.
  • Working with the AARRR Sales Metrics Diagram (Acquisition – Activation – Retention – Referral - Revenue)
  • Understanding conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles and hacks and being able to apply CRO hacks to any industry.
  • Scaling and Automating the growth processes.
  • Knowledgeable about referral marketing and being able to create viral growth.
  • Utilization of data-sets & analysis from Mixpanel and other tools to present insights and progress reports to the various teams.
  • Driving traffic to the website/app/mobile app and have a clear and focused approach to reach.
  • SEO expertise to ensure high search reach.
  • Running and managing digital campaigns specifically Google Adwords, Facebook Pixel and other redirect campaigns.

  • Being relentless in pursuit of growth and scalability!
  • Data-driven and highly analytical about finding disruptive insights.
  • Being social and understanding consumer(s) mindsets and triggers; get excited about finding the right low hanging fruits to activate those triggers.
  • Editing and copywriting skills.
  • Having a startup mindset, willing to take on various roles and responsibilities when the need arises.
  • Creating software is not just a job, it is a way to use your creativity to delight your users, and yourself.
  • Not being risk-averse, not scared of pivots.
  • Knowledge about both inbound and outbound marketing.
  • Being performance and results oriented.
  • Basic programming knowledge - enough to implement the pixels and scripts for digital campaigns.
  • Being excited about learning, especially about new industries.
  • Willing to challenge yourself creatively for the sake of growth.
  • You are not hesitant to speak up when needed. Even if you are doing so to your CEO! We encourage folks to do so as long as they have objective reasons to back it up.
  • It’s a startup! Although your primary role is that of an engineer, you don’t mind donning different hats as and when required.
