Your Mission

As a Senior Development Director , you will help the studio to drive quality targets and own production schedules. This is achieved by working closely with various departments to identify needs, applying resources efficiently and appropriately. The role of a Senior Development Director requires candidates to be excellent and persuasive communicators, capable of coordinating with a wide variety of internal and external partners. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with all degrees of ownership, from personally leading to pro-active planning. Senior Production leaders must thrive in a complex and sometimes ambiguous environment, and be adept at driving quality in line with team, schedule, and budget.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Sr. DD (PMO) Responsibilities:

    • Development process for how SHG, ATVI and external studios collaborate

    • Headcount reconciliation and tracking process and regular management, ensuring alignment between Studios, Project, Operations, and Recruiting

    • Long term (and aggregate) headcount allocation to upcoming and parallel projects

    • Maintain production framework – milestone process, planning best practices, etc.

    • Track delivery KPI’s to improve and maintain quality and predictability

    • Rationalise org structure and ensure it meets the needs of the studios and the project

    • Partner with HR to Implement Personnel Mobility Processes

  • In Partnership with Other Leaders:

    • Developing Sustainable Content Pipelines

    • Collecting and Analyzing Development Historicals

    • Creating Studio-wide Development Processes/Framework

    • Director, Producer and Team Allocation

Player Profile

Minimum Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience as a producer in games.

  • Multiple shipped titles in leadership positions.

  • Experience with direct people management.

  • Strong project management fundamentals including capacity planning, scope assessment and management, and project milestone planning.

  • Solid grasp of project management software (e.g. JIRA, Microsoft Project, Confluence, Hansoft, etc.).

Extra Points:

  • Education, certification in project management, business, general management.

  • Active video game player across a variety of genres, especially FPS games.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of live games ecosystem and its major competitors.
