We’re looking for an exceptional Art Manager to guide and develop artists across the art discipline. A passion for hiring and nurturing art talent is a must!
Expectations and Responsibilities:
- Partner with art leadership to manage artists across the department
- Work with artists to develop career goals and growth opportunities
- Serve as a mentor to other art leads in leadership and management
- Support the wellness of your direct reports and the art discipline as a whole
- Help architect and guide the growth of the art discipline
- Ensure the art team is on a path to achieve its short and long term goals
- Partner with recruiting to hire new artists to the team
- Be the bridge between the art discipline and other disciplines at the studio
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experienced in resolving a wide range of personnel challenges
- 3+ years in an art leadership role in which you managed other artists
- Experience working as an artist in games or related industries
- Working knowledge of game engines, Maya, and other tools key being successful as an artist in the game industry
Preferred:
- Have shipped AAA titles in an art leadership role
- A passion for social simulation games and MMOs

- On-site in Los Angeles, CA (once back in office) unless noted above
