Here at SIDE we are looking for someone to come and join our team on a casual bases as a Head Mounted Camera operator. This role will support the studio audio team to capture the head mounted camera footage and transfer the data to the post team. You are responsible for ensuring that all footage capture is kept to the highest standard. This is a key role in the post-production process and your skills can determine the quality and delivery of the finished result.

Duties And Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Head Mounted Camera material being captured in studio with the talent.
• align the cameras, add markers to the talent, light the subject, accordingly, operate the capture hardware (disk recorder) and make sure each take is captured precisely.
• Ensuring that the Head Mounted camera is clean and stored away safely.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of video capture hardware – such as AJA, Blackmagic
• Good understanding of video principles and codec’s
• Good understanding of lighting
• Good understanding of cameras, lenses, photography techniques etc.
• Meticulous attention to detail
