POSITION OVERVIEW

A fantastic opportunity to grow and continuously evolve within the Digital Operations team. The focus of this role is to support the Digital launch roadmap on console platforms.

Under the guidance and support of the Digital Operations team, and working with other SEGA key stakeholders, you will ensure that all assigned titles are released in the most efficient and effective manner, on time!

You will be ambitious and intellectually curious, constantly challenging for the highest standard in everything, and continuously seeking to improve quality, tools and processes, planning, and reporting. Highly motivated and driven, you will be results focused, looking to create and constantly improve the best Operations Department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that day-to-day submission tasks are completed in a timely manner and to SEGA’s quality standards.
  • Submit all physical and digital game code patches, game ratings, title updates, avatars, dynamic themes, and all meta-data.
  • Work closely with Brand, Commercial, Studios, Legal, and Production to facilitate and execute all scheduled game submissions globally (N. America, Europe and Asia).
  • Help define and establish best practices to reduce submission timeframes and ensuring error free submissions.
  • Coordinate, review, and submit metadata.
  • Work closely with Brand Marketing, and our Localisation team to ensure Ops receives all metadata components on time and all specs are accurate prior to metadata submission to First Party.
  • Work closely with the Ratings Specialist / Submissions team to evaluate in-game content on all platforms, for age appropriateness and adherence to regional rating board requirements.
  • Work directly with SEGA West Operations Teams on game release schedules to help determine optimal operational dates to successfully meet product release dates.
  • Support where needed on the submission of digital file transfers to First Party for patches and metadata

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrable experience of game, multimedia or software industry experience
  • Knowledge of first-party portals
  • Experience working with global teams and various time zones around the world.
  • Understanding of game production operations
